Can you elaborate?
Does your hard disk not boot? Or does your floppy disk not boot?
If NTLDR is missing when you’re trying to boot the hard disk it means your XP installation is likely hosed. You can try copying the NTLDR file over but it’s most likely not the real problem. You best bet is a system restore.
If you’re referring to a floppy disk simply not booting you’ll need to make sure the disk is properly formatted and setup to boot. XP makes bootable floppies. You should be able to boot off a USB floppy drive. I do it occasionally and it works.
