Forgot to post this yesterday: If you use O2k3 for email or administrate Exchange, MS released an update for O2k3’s spam filter .

Sweet! Thanks for the update. I’m actually liking Outlook 2003’s built-in spam protection. It’s so much more unintrusive than every single other program. I’d say it catches about 90-95% of the spam that I get which I think is good enough.

I just upgraded to O2k3 a few weeks ago in preparation for an AD/Exchange rollout in my company. I like it’s spam filter, but I am not impressed that it can’t learn. I’m now using SpamBayes and I really like how it handles spam, learning as it goes and using a “Suspected Spam” folder. The only problem is that it’s slow as anything when working on large amounts of spam (which I tend to get, having had my email address for 7 years).  :?
