Ok, nothing too formal here but just some basic rules and regulations on how this board will work. My purpose for this site was an open forum and support community for users of the Sony TR-series notebooks.
So, some basic rules…
Respect
Please respect other members on this board and they will respect you in return. Not everyone has their own opinions and point of view and not everyone will agree on every topic. Give everyone a chance to explain their points and you might actually learn something.
Stay On Topic
Keep comments on topic. If you want to discuss something else then start a new thread in the appropriate forum.
Keep It Clean
Please keep the language clean. You’re old enough to know what that means.
No Flaming or Trolling
Please do not flame other members. There’s always an intelligent way to make you point. Figure it out. Trolling is frowned upon and will be dealt with if necessary. If you don’t have something to contribute then please do so otherwise please don’t post for the sake of causing problems.
Be Intelligent
You do yourself no favors by posting incomprehensible text. You would be suprised at how much more effective you can be if you try to use proper grammar and spelling. The more you back up what you’re saying the more the forum benefits from the discussion.
No Fanboys
Yes, this is a dedicated site for the Sony TR community but that doesn’t mean we have to sing the praises of the product unless it warrants it. Try to keep things in perspective.
No Crossposting
Please don’t post in multiple forums as it’s confusing to people and it makes searches less relevant. If you’re not sure then just post in one forum and it will be moved by a moderator if necessary.
Share Your Knowledge
The quality of this community is based on the users. So, anything you contribute whether it be an anecdote, a tip, a resource, or idea is greatly appreciated and will help others and help this site become a better resource.
Thanks!
