For those of you how need more Sony stuff…

Sony has released a new wireless router that supports all of the current wireless standards. 802.11a/b/g are all supported in addition to the Atheros based 108Mbps technologies.

The obvious catch is that the device can only run in 2.4GHz or 5GHz mode at any given time. So, no simultaneous 802.11a and 802.11g abilities. As always 802.11g and 802.11b can coexist however at the expense of 802.11g’s top speed.

Also, at $350 USD (MSRP), you could probably buy separate 802.11g and 802.11a routers if you need both specifications and still have money left over.  :wink: [/url]
