Well, in short, the new VAIO X does not even come close to the VAIO X505.
-in aesthetics the most beautiful laptop ever designed is still the X505 without doubt, it’s ultimate slim front profile and all-angle elegance just clearly sets it aside!
-in performance given what this size segment machines are made for (browsing, on the go edit, file-operations, emails, quick photo sharing / looking etc… the new X with its atom processor does not “substantially exceed” the X505 (yes I know, only from the above mentioned perspective for the above selected tasks)
