I think my BIOS CMOS battery is gone.  I just don’t use the TR for a week and now the time and date in the BIOS is resetted. 

Where is it located? And what type of battery does the BIOS use?

Not sure of the battery part number or anything, but I’ve seen some on ebay for sale…

The battery is located just beside the fan on the motherboard. Follow these instructions to open the machine up: http://www.siliconpopculture.com/forum/viewthread/5486/

Just above the hard drive you will see two plugs with a red and black wire each - the one on the right is the CMOS battery lead and it loops under the other one for the fan and the battery itself is the brown circular thing.

i figured it out and found the part number, 146862421, but now at sony part sales, it says that the BIOS battery is Lithium Ion, does it mean it’s rechargeable? never heard of rechargeable BIOS battery before.  Most desktop are using CR5032 battery, but this one is no regular battery.
