Sony finally posted a camera patch for TR2A systems upgraded to Windows XP Pro. I tried it out and now I’m happy :D

Description from Sony Support site:
This utility will install the Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system QFE 817589 for computers that have the Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system with Service Pack 1 installed to resolve the issue where:

A USB camera connected to the computer does not function properly after the Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Edition operating system is upgraded to the Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional operating system.
