Hey there guys.

Been hanging around here for a couple of weeks now and finally got round to registering.

Just a question about replacing the drive in my Vaio TR1MP.

Been looking around on ebay and found this:

MK4006GAH

Now i know that technically the drive should work in the laptop but not sure about the drive being stamped with the apple logo… will this mean that the dirve is just already formatted and partitioned to work in an iPod or will it have some weird firmware on it?

I’m in the UK btw so any other links/suggestions should be accesible to me over here.

I want a new drive really so its in tip-top condition hence why the other one attracted my attention.
