Hey guy, i have a quick question. When my wireless is on, i get this signal called mobilenet. Do you guys know what it is?

Obviously it is a WIFI network available in your area, although chances are that you have to suscribe to use it.  At home, I see an average of 8 networks or APs at any given time!!!  Almost all home based APs though.

I think that sometime ago, former GTE was deploying a network called “mobilenet”, but the name is common enough, it could just be your the girl next door’s AP smile

In CA, I am pretty sure it is the GTE Wifi network.  Chech with Verizon if you are curious.  It’s a shame it is not the “girl next door” though…
