Has anyone actually got any of the SSDs working in a TR?

Howdy… I see a lot of posts about SSDs here but none from anyone who’s actually got one going.

My 60Gb drive is giving up the game a bit (my fault… turns out it doesn’t enjoy altitude) and I’m thinking I could downsize to a 32Gb SSD for a bit of fun.

Yeah, it’s a pity - since the board moved it’s sort of died. I used to refresh this every day or two and now I look at it every month!

I installed the 16GB Samsung in my TR3 and its working great. The increase in performance was a lot more than I expected, extremely fast bootup and shutdown times. I got the Samsung for about $150 and it was definitely worth it. I just wish the 64GB versions werent so outrageously expensive.
