im don jus joined this web…...the thing is that i jus bought this tr5c there was no windows intalled in it so i intalled it ma self i did manage to get all the softwear as i dont hav the real recovery cd or the bak up in the laptop wen i got it. the real problem is that i cant get my cam to work on it (the motion eye) all it shows its black. i did read the other topic but i didnt see any one telling where to download the real softwera. can any1 tel me where to get the real softwera to work the cam and also how to use the sound keys,brightness key to.

99.999% the camera is dead.. it’s what they do best… and see this thread for Sony Shared Libary to get fn functions working. Can’t remember the details but have done this once, will try to find the walk through and post back.

if you can find a set of correct restore discs it saves a lot of faffing about, must be for your specific model though, I have TR5MP but they won’t work on yours
