Here is my situation. I started a new job a couple of weeks ago. I bring my beloved TR2A to work since they are allowing me to use it for work.
Since it has taken the owner of the company this entire time to get my computer configured to sign onto the domain, I have been just using my computer like normal. Today, the computer was setup to log onto the domain.
Here is the problem. When I start the computer up, I am asked Username, Password and of course, the drop down for “Log On To:” If I was logging onto the domain, everything works great, but if I want to go back to my normal setup I had, I can’t sign on.
The drop down for “Log On To:” has the domain and “computer name” (this computer) for the two options of which one is selected. When I select the (this computer) option and try to use my sign on and password, I can’t log on.
So my question is, since I was setup up to log onto a domain, does that mean “local computer” is no longer available?
