Has anyone bought a generic power supply off Ebay for their TR?

I have been thinking about buying one that says it is compatible for about $20. Mine is one of those that has a permanent cord, which I don’t want. It is also somewhat broken, still works, just physically broken.

I has bought a original power supply from this guy. It is used, but works fine.
