guys, i would appreciate any help…My pcmcia slot is not recognizing anything.  I put in a simple compactflash card adapter and it says unknown device, shuld recognize automatically just like it did in my friends laptp…Also i bought a bluetooth pcmcia card and it does not even make a sound when inserted, i mean nothing at all, the computer simply does not recognize anything happpening, the company said its the computer not the card….Took the card to a friends, popped it in, it installed right away, found new hardware and all was perfect…What is wrong with my little sony…
PLEASE HELP…...............

p.s. device manager says pcmcia card is working properly and driver is up todate…
