I am in the process of switching out cracked LCD on my TR3A. I undid 4 corner screws and the 2 at the bottom, still it appears something is hoding the bezel at the top (approximately an inch toward the motion eye panel) on either size - are there some additional screws somewhere in that area?? I am not sure if I need to use some additional force or I am not doing something right. Can someone please point me to some directions on this site or provide some guidance on the matter? Thanks.

Never mind - a set of chopsticks helps a lot with that task.

can you elaborate? I might have to take the lid apart if thats where the inverter lives… think mine is dead :(

For me the easiest way to detach the screen bezel from the enclosure (read to release all plastic catches on the way) was to slide the back side of regular bamboo chopsticks working my way from the top to the bottom between the panel and the bezel (this will allow you to see the location of each catch and hopefully help you to get them to release without scratching your bezel too badly in the process). Does it make any sense?
