Alright, here’s the deal - my vT270p’s on the blitz (I don’t know if it’s the HDD or the memory.  On boot up I’m getting the recovery wizard automatically and then blue screen.  Stop errors would indicate memory problems (“8E” errors - among others). 

Anyway, ordered the recovery cd from Sony and now it wants to do something and sounds like it’s working hard but then at the completion of the progress bar it blue screens and I get stop error c0000135 - “Application failed to start.  Winsrv not found.  Re-installing may fix problem”.  UGHHH!!  Now what?  This was all started by dropping it…

Any ideas?
