I am looking for the following accessories for my newly acquired x505:
(I would like to find the original sony items that came with it)
-external DVD/RW
-the memorystick mouse (or other)
-WLAN card
-original (or other) carry case

I would appreciate if any of you guys could give me a hint where to look for them, or maybe you guys have them for sale!

As I replied on the other thread, ebay is most likely your best bet.

The original DVDRW is a great little drive that is powered from the notebook, a def. must buy.

I would try and find the OEM WiFi card as it seems to fit the notebook pretty well.

The mouse isn’t necissary and I’m not sure I would buy it unless I found it very cheap. I personally don’t use an external mouse, but if I did I’m sure I could find a better one then that.

The case that came with the system is good but doesn’t have a strap, not sure if that is an issue for you but before buying it, it’s something to consider.

I will keep your advice! The only thing about the mouse (I know this may sound stupid) is that it is so delicate on the x505 that I am afraid it may just quite one day:) (most probably not:)!) 

I actually do not mind the strapless carry case..but I just do not find it anywhere…do you know anybody who has one but is not using it?

me personally, i have the original sony wifi card unplugged and put aside, instead inserted a t-mobile mobile internet card (umts, gprs, wlan)

I personally like the cases that came with my X505, I keep mine in it all the time.
If you need the VAIO DVD-RW i.Link drive and the wireless card - I can hook you up with those. Just pm me for more details.
I hope to get the X505 mouse some day, so my eXtreme collection would be complete.  :wink:
