I was wondering if it would be possible to boot from a USB Harddrive on our TR’s. If yes, I’ll be getting one today or tomorrow (nothing to do with my harddrive crashing…I ordered it yesterday) and can use it till I get a harddrive for the TR and replace it.

Just incase anyone’s wondering, it’s not possible…well done sony once again!!! the stupid thing has a floppy drive listed as one of the boot options but no USB. Anyway’s I was hopeful that by floppy drive it meant a USB floppy drive so I tried installing xp on a 4 gb USB drive, but the xp setup informed me that it can’t install to the chosen media since the computer’s start up program cannot access the drive.
