Hello All,
I have been looking at memory for the U1400 chipset and came across a question.
Crucial.com says that the TXN series i.e. the U1400 chipset does not support Double Data Rate memory speeds. Although the memory recommended is DDR2 Ram When I went to the Core Solo section of the Intel website I could not find any specs that said that the U1400 did or did not support DDR2.
Anybody know for sure that the TXN/850 series supports DDR2 speeds?
Second question, has anybody crammed a single 2 gig DDR2 stick into a TXN 15 or TX 850, which supposedly max out at 1.5 gigs, to see what would happen?
Regards,
Fandarel
