This is just a question of curiousity, I never even use WWAN and don’t think I will anytime soon.

The older TXs use Cingular’s EDGE and the latest models use Verizon’s EVDO. Is it possible for the older models to use Verizon’s EVDO, like switching the internal cards or something?

I know if I wanted, I could simply use a PC Card but I just wanted to know for curiosity’s sake if this is possible?

Also, would it be possible to switch out the motherboards in the older and newer TXs and for instance, give the older TXs the ability to use the Core Solo/Duo ULV processors and the GMA 950 chipset? I know its probably not worth it in the end but just wanted to know if its possible since they use the same chassis/design and all….

Since the newest TXs use the Core arctitecture, do you think its only a matter of time before they are updated eventually to Dual Core processors? Or would Sony make a whole new model?
