Its begun, and i’m surprised its taken so long. My T370P is starting to fall apart. I throw it in my nag everyday and generally beat on in pretty heavily. I finall dropped the thin 2 weeks ago and now the case isn’t fitting right (bottom left side is no longer flush and you can see the leds thru the cracks). I’m planning on taking it apart to refit the case next week. Now, if i hit i on the right palm rest, it causes a hard crash and it gives symptoms of reseating a video card or some other hardware issue (or its grounding out the board).
Anybody see this symptom before? Also, is taking it apart pretty straight forward like all other sony laptops? I’d like to make it another 6 months with this thing (owned it for maybe 15 months), but if I can make it 6 weeks, i’ll be happy and go drop my money on a TX (but soooo expensive).
If this thing doesn’t last 6 weeks, i may have to bail on sony laptops (tho i’m very loyal) and get a panasonic semi-tough book to take my abuse. Anyone use that line yet?
Also, it sounds like a speaker is blown (may have been the drop) and the sticker with the labels WWAN, WLAN, Bluetooth is falling off. Any other known issues with this device that you guys have encountered?
