I created a gantt chart in visio (not using one of the standard types, but completely from scratch). I was reading data from an external excel file and then plotting the points appropriately with the days, etc. However, I was trying to embed the visio drawing inside an excel worksheet then read the data from another sheet of the same excel file. Basically I have written macros inside the visio file and was reading the excel data into arrays. I need to do the same but instead of reading from an external excel file, I now need to embed the visio object and then read the excel data into the arrays in visio. However I’m not able to figure it out. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
