I received my TR2A last week and have been having lots of fun with it.

I have a question about the CDRW speed on TR2A(P). I just queried my TR2A CDRW/DVD drive from device manager and I see UJDA755 instead of UJDA745. Using Nero Infotool reveals that the write speed on this drive is 24X.

Do all TR2 notebooks come with this new drive?

Manufacturers often silently change specs because the manufacturers stop making certain products so it’s not uncommon for this to happen. Consider it a bonus!!!

The same thing happened to the TR1s. They were supposed to come with 8x4x24x8x (CDR/CDRW/CD/DVD) but many came with 16x10x24x8x instead.
