Can anyone (hopefully) confirm that the Vaio T150 comes with a Bluetooth radio built-in? If so, is there any way to turn it on beyond (or instead of) the “Wireless” on/off slide switch? On my T150, when I have that switch in the “on” position when the laptop starts, the blue light next to the Bluetooth system comes and stays on for about a minute but always goes out before Windows completes the start-up. When I try any bluetooth function, the messages I receive always seem to indicate that there is no Bluetooth radio on at all. Also, under Device Manager I can find no evidence of a Bluetooth Radio. What am I doing wrong? (BTW, the WLAN works just fine.)  Thanks for any insight you can give. -David

Your BT was turned off by Wireless Switch Setting Utility.
“Wireless” on/off slide swicth is hardware swicth and utility above is software swicth. If your T150 comes with original factory installation, you will find a GREEN square icon in system tray with L letter. Double click on it wil let you enable BT.

Although I have not directly tested communicating with any devices via BT yet, your information does indeed seem to have resolved the problem. Thank you! I never thought to investigate the green square icon because it had only “LAN” written on it. Now that the Bluetooth is “on” though, it now also splits the square into half blue.
