CPU fan on the TR series?

Hello,

I have a Sony TR3A. The bottom gets very hot, and after sitting back and thinking about it, I don’t think I’ve ever heard the CPU fan go on.

Does the fan run very quietly on this model, or do you guys think that
the fan is not working (or has never worked)?
