since i updated my tr3’s DVD firmware at 2004, I was not able to read DVD.
two years past, still no solutions. everytime when i see the machine, i couldn’t help kicking it and cursing sony.

is there any possibilty to address this?  there are many gurus here, who can update HDD, overclock CPU, patch bluetooth.  without DVD, it is so so inconvienient in vacation, on the trip… I also know there are a bunch of people had the same issue and were torched by the problem.

any hope??  please shed your light!
