I have a Sony TR1MP which had an intel 2100 Wireless card installed and I wanted to upgrade the card to a G speed card, so I bought a Netegriti EM-500AG from Ebay (I was recommended this card from from here.), I had done a full clean install on XP SP2 and I installed the card and then went to install the drivers and I keep getting the error: “Device could not start” CODE 10. Ive tried a few different drivers and its still the same. Anyone have a similar problem and sort it out?

Ive heard something about PCI ID not matching up with the BIOS, but there is only the original BIOS for the TR1.

Turns out the actual minipci card I bought was faulty, a new one arrived today and it works perfect. very strange that the card would be recognised and then not actually work. just incase anyone was in the same situation.
