Yo Rahul we kind of have the same taste…. i used to have a 3650 this phone rocks untill it died of falling to much on the floor
I just got myself a K750i waouw i love it. I have can give you a piece of advice… is to use Float Mobile Agent to sync your phone with BT. It works great.
I also recommend FMA (Float’s Mobile Agent) if you own a Sony Ericsson phone….it’s so ridiculously awesome…and makes me want to stay with SE phones.
I also came from Nokia recelntly to SE and faced the same thing you are now. I had an N70 and now I got an SE P910i. The transfer was ridiculously easy. With my Nokia, I used PC suite to sync my contacts, calendar, ToDo list, and notes to Outlook. When i got the SE, I just connected it to my laptop via BT, and downloaded the Ericsson Sync Station from SE’s website, configured it, and Synced. Now all my Contacts, Calendar entries (even recurring ones), ToDo items, and notes are transferred seemlessly to the P910i.
can anybody help me on this, FMO works great for me exept for syncing the calendar the sessions fails everytime. I then have to sync my outlook calendar using the SE software.
Float doesn’t sync the calendar as that bit of code hasn’t been wriiten yet. I think the guy who writes it has it on his ‘todo’ list but hasn’t got around to it yet!!

fair eneought  did not know about it.
Another question.. how to use the REMOTE CONTROL sofware of my K750i with my TR?
Thanks for your replies. I can borrow a sim card (why the hell do these stupid phone manufacturers not allow us to access the phone functions without a sim card?? :? :?), but I don’t see any option in my 3650 for transferring contacts. The 3650 has both - bluetooth and IR.
Thom, my cell phone didn’t die, I just wanted something smaller. Someone recently even called my 3650 a calculator  . I’ll definitely give FMA a try once I can transfer my contacts.
Yes, I still haven’t been able to do that. In the Nokia PC Suite software, I don’t see any option to copy the contacts to Outlook. I can only back up the contents of the cell phone to the harddrive which creates a eccemain.ctx file for the contacts. Even within outlook, I don’t see any option for importing contacts from some external device. Could someone please help me here
Does anyone know how to change the functions of the 2 context sensitive keys….the 2 just below the screen which are currently set to Calls and Menu. I would like to replace the Menu option with contacts but can’t see any option to do that.
Getting the sim card out was a nightmare. The memory stick duo is also kind of hard to deal with especially putting it back in.

In Nokia PC suite you will see an option “Synchronize” and that will copy all of your contacts to Outlook. Once you have done that, turn the SE on, use some software (I use the SE suite from SE’s site), and Synchronize with outlook again. This should work like a breeze. If you dont see a Synchronize option in your Nokia PC suite, you definately need to upgrade to the latest version from Nokia’s website.
About the Stick Duo, isnt it just wonderful that you can simply stick it in the TR’s slot, and copy everything without a 3rd party USB card reader? I think this is more important than anythink that may arise about the Stick Duo. At least these are my thoughts coming from Nokia to SE just a wee or two ago.
cool, it worked this time. I did see that option once before when I was messing around with the software but I just couldn’t recall how I got there.
Yes, it is a very nice thing that the memory stick duo can be simply popped into the memory stick slot of the TR but I prefer the USB connection since getting the memory stick out of it’s phone slot is hard for me.
Great, I am glad it worked out for you. Sync is a very important feature of these phones, this is mainly why I have mine, to sync up with my Outlook Tasks, Calendar entries, and of course contacts, and thus I never forget to do anything usually.
In my P910i it is a breeze to get the Smart card out, I just open the little door, push the card in a bit, and it pops right out. I guess this isnt how your phone was designed…?!
Yes, that’s how even mine is, infact I think all memory stick’s work that way i.e. push them in a little bit and they pop out. However, there is very little room there and I especially struggle while putting the card back and my fingers aren’t too fat
Hmm.. I cannot even imagine. I remember on my Nokia 6630 the Memory slot’s door was really hard to get it open, but I never had a problem with the space. On the P910i it is a breeze to get it out and back in again. I guess this is just how they built your phone….
Here’s a pic of the memory stick slot of my w800i:
Worse than the memory stick is the sim card. Initially for taking it out, I was trying to lift it up from the front using something sharp however the damn thing just refused to come out. Then I saw a little bit of space near the back. So, I stuck the object there and it came out. However, I feel scared that I might damage something in that area like this but it seems like the only way to remove the sim card.
