Go to Sony USA’s eSupport site and use Option 3 in the following manner:
Product: Computer Desktop
Series: VGC-VA
Model: VGC-VA11G (But any of the other two will also work)
You will be brought to this page .
Click on the ‘Drivers/Software’ tab at the top left of the page, and then choose either ‘Updates’ or ‘Everything’.
Download the ‘Sony LifeFLOW Update’. The file is named SOAVIF-01131101-US.EXE.
Once you have downloaded, download a program decompiler such as E_WISE . Put both downloads in the same directory and run a command prompt within the directory. At the command prompt, type in:
E_WISE_W SOAVIF-01131101-US.EXE C:\TEMP
where C:\TEMP (or anywhere else) is the target directory.
After E_WISE finishes, browse to the target directory. You will see a whole lot of files with .EWI extension and a 00000000.BAT batch file. Double-click 00000000.BAT and it will compile the other files. Almost immediately you will see a folder named TEMP appear in the same directory. Within this directory (and a sub-directory called DRIVERS) is a SOAVIF-01131101-US.EXE file that will install Sony LifeFLOW.

A note though; the ‘Wake Up Timer’ function in LifeFLOW doesn’t work for me. Clicking on ‘Wake Up Timer’ in LifeFLOW settings hangs the application. YMMV.
