I want to clean install XP on my tx650p.  I’d like to not have to install any of the Sony files or branded drivers if possible.  I know I’ll lose some hotkey functionality but I’m not worried about that.

The devices I haven’t been able to find non-Sony drivers are:
-Conexant modem
-Toshiba BT (have found drivers but none seem to work). I’d actually be happy using the MS BT drivers, but the device shows up as “UGX” and XP can’t identify it.
-Flash card and memory stick readers (I think this is already in XP)

If I do need to use the Sony drivers for these devices, which of the Sony sytem component files are absolutely required?

One benefit of figuring out the Sony-less clean install will be when Vista comes out.  We can figure the vendors will update their drivers for Vista but we’ll be waiting a long time (maybe forever) for Sony to bring us any Vista support.
