hey Guys..

I bought a Logitech F-0399A BT headset and it will connect to my internal BT in the Vaio, but it will not show ANY BT Services on the device at all.

I am using all original drivers in my VGN-T37GP.

Looking around both here and on the Skype Forum, it seems that this is a quite general problem with Viao’s..

Could I just install the latest Widcomm drivers and expect it to solve the problem.?

Any other ideas on how to solve this issue.?!

Hi again..

Installed Widcomm’s V. 5.0.1.801. Its could not find the internal Bluetooth device as expected.

However, when I used a Dongle I used to use with my old TR2C (Chinese version) it worked and the setup in Skype was a walk in the park.  :D

Now, the big question is.. how do I get my internal BT device to use the Widcomm 5.0.1.801 driver.?!? Im sure some of you guys know..  :?:  :?:

Btw. I was not impressed about the quality of the BT headset’s sound when I heard the playback of my own recording.. Much more static noise than on the cable connection, and also much more static noise than when I use the my BT headset with my phone even its old.. (I am waiting for a Dopod 818 Pro- English OS PDA phone which I ordered about 1 month ago :x . My Nokia 6230 broke down, so I borrowed a 6310i from a friend. Old, but solid as a rock .)

i’ve had lots of probs with Sony BT stuff in the past. It all boils down to finding/using the right Sony Bluetooth drivers and software. I found once that even though you may not use the sony BT software just having it installed made the gear operate correctly. There is probably a patch around that you need to install over the top of the sony drivers.
