TR need to be charged for a x amount of hours b4 1st use?

Just got my TR notebook, and I’m wondering if I have to charge it for a certain amount of hours before the first use as with most electronics.  However, I dont see any mention of it in the manual…

Agreed. I called Sony before using my Vaio…they said I can use it right away…who knew.
