MICROVAULT: Reformatting from Fat32 -> NTFS

I was wondering if it possible to reformat my Sony Microvault from the default FAT32 -> NTFS…

Would it cause any complications?

Here . It’s not recommended that you do this because XP caches write operations for NTFS drives. Don’t yank out the drive before running the remove device dialog. Someone in the thread mentions journaling being an issue, but realistically you’re probably going to replace the drive because it’s too small before you wear it out with journal writes.
