Hi guys! I used to come to this forum before, but I was just a guest. After coming to this forum all the time I decided to finally register and join the club! Let me tell you guys about my computer setup here. I used to use a Compaq Presario desktop. Specs: Intel 500mhz Celeron, 192MB Ram, 30 GB Hard Disk, DVD-ROM, Windows XP Home, nVidia Geforce2 MX PCI, and IOMEGA ZIP 100, and floppy disk. During the last week of October of 2003 I purchased the SONY VAIO TR2AP3. I bought many accessories for my new computer including a Wireless router, Office 2003 Pro, McAfee Virusscan Pro 8, and some other software. I am extremely happy with my new computer and felt I made a good decision(even though I took a hit in my wallet) lol. This computer has all the components that I desire in a computer. Checked out sonystyle.com and it seems they just released the TR3 series. The new TR3 series seems OK, it appears the TR3AP3 contains a DVD-RW drive and might have better wireless capabilities(need to check on that). I don’t feel as though the TR3 series makes me think that my TR2AP3 is obsolete. I probably will upgrade my computer when the next version of Windows is released (Longhorn, I think). That’s a while off, but when that comes around the hardware upgrade will justify the cost for the new computer. Well, just wanted to tell you guys that I am glad to be part of the club and will see you around.
