I know there is the MAME emulator for the U, I host it, but never tried it.

Games, on that little screen? Yikes, most I’d want to try is something like chess or backgammon. 

You haven’t seen the game boy micro yet, have you? Most people play games on their cell phones…much smaller screen.

When I saw pictures of the Game Boy Micro, I laughed and thought it was the stupidest thing I ever saw. But I changed my mind when I saw it at WalMart, the screen was much more comfortable to use than I thought. Same goes for the Vaio Ts. I always have to look at the thing in person, not by pictures.

My only issue with the U as a game machine is it’s weight, IMO it’s too heavy to hold and play, if you put it down with an external KB & M I guess it would work well. Either way, I haven’t used mine to play games, and don’t plan on it.

I remember a review of the U50 where the reviewer said it was more fun to play Warcraft 3 with the stylus than on his desktop!

I agree weight is definately an issue as it’s even too heavy to hand hold for a whole feature movie. Using the stand is OK but sometimes that’s not convientient and you get a stiff neck balancing it on your lap

From what ive read only Rise of Nations has a resolution problem with the U. I’m sure theres other games but very few.

Solution: Buy an external monitor :D.
