hi all, i am a pcanywhere v11 new user and have some questions about using it to remote control my TR3 from my desktop machine:

1) Motion Video does not seem to display in a remote control situation, plays great on the host (the tr3 in this case) but not on my desktop remote view). I’ve tried all the types, .mov, avi, etc. and different players and I get is the player and the first frame of the movie in the remote display.  :shock:

2) The video display in the remote is kinda dodgy (pixalated) and on connect, the host’s windows theme is changed to the default.  Rebooting the host returns all to normal, but that’s kinda strange. Is there a fix for this. I’ve played with the settings for remote display, but no changes there.

3) Everthing works but Remote Management, because it seems you have to give a different userid/password to log in.  Pcanywhere is not letting me use the caller userid/password there, as i would have expected. Wuz up with that?!?  :cry: But it does not look to be useful anyway, as can’t you just do everything in remote control!  What am I missing?

4) So what is your opinion of this tool? I am just using on my home network, behind a router, and using norton internet security.  I am assuming this is a safe setup, but ya know norton, it’s so hard to decifer the user guides and interfaces, I can’t be sure.
