Day 1 out of the box, about 2 minutes. 746 days later, FOREVER. I think this is the nature of XP, the larger the registry gets, the slower the boot. There was a thread a year or so ago here where we all timed it.  Then we moved on to measuring battery cycles, then customizing desktops, i think we get bored quite easily here…
