Anyone know where to puchase the 7 inch LocationFree TV display, I already have the base station. I know they have been on ebay once or twice.

Ebay would be your only source, since they are not sold separately. But be aware, the Base that you have, will not work with the monitor under the HOME mode, and can be used under the ON THE GO mode only.

As for the “why” question: somehow when Sony bundled the Base and the appropriate LCD with it, they tied both to work together. So if you get the Base of LF-X1, it might not necessarily work with the LCD of LF-X5.
