the InstantON is a CentOS minimal kernel that that is compiled without any Bluetooth support.
I don’t mean to hijack this thread, I apologise for offtopic.
Gilbert, what do you think is it possible to somehow install AV InstantON on T350 ?
I mean, it’s all software issue, isn’t it ?
It won’t work.
I already tried on mine. The install stalls and never finishes. besides that, there is no way to bring the laptop to life from a power-down state nor from hibernation rather than through power button.
The AV button is somewhat hardwired to the powerbutton, but is different…
I looked at few solutions where you can boot similar kernels from a USB stick or a memory stick but I am not sure if the sony’s can boot from those.
