I’ve only had my TX 650 for a couple of weeks and took it on my first road trip this last week.

Well somehow one day between the desk in the hotel room and my jobsite, the antenna came off and is became lost.  I cannot for the life of me figure how this happened. It didn’t get dropped or banged or anything. I have treated it with kid gloves!

The WWAN still worked, although the signal strength isn’t as good.  The hole the antenna left has open exposed contacts. Makes me wonder what other type of antenna would work.

I’ll make a call to Sony tomorrow to see if one is available. If it is as fragile as it seems, maybe I’d better order 2 or 3.

Sheesh….
