i got a new laptop from toshiba for my dad a week ago
i just notice one dead pixel today
i called toshiba direct for the instruction for exchange
it ends up that i need to pay for my own shipping cost(to factory and back to me again)
at the time i ordered, it was free shipping.
do u think it’s worth to do the exchange?

the labtop itself costs about $600

Unless it bothers you, I wouldn’t do it. Your going to spend around $50 or more in shipping and there is no promise the next one wont have a dead pixel too.

Dead pixels usually kill resale value, but if its $600 new, your not expecting too much on ebay in a year or so, so it’s not that big of a deal.
