Hello all!

I’m in desperate need of some help - the drive in my TR1 MP has completely died and sony europe has said they can’t fix it for three weeks!!!

I can’t get my hands on a suitable drive anywhere! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Alternatively - does anyone know if one of these ipod drives will fit in? They seem to be very available! Do I need any adapter for the ipod drive? Which ipod drive do I need to buy?

It depends whether it’s Toshiba or Hitachi. Currently the largest capacity 1.8” Toshiba drive available is the MK6006GAH (60Gb) and the biggest Hitachi one is the C4K60 (also 60Gb). More info on how to switch them at:
