Need to use the S series dvd rw drive as an external writer for the U. Can this be done using firewire or USB?

Can we use our U as a host drive to another computer. Since its so small may be it would be helpful to use it as a external drive, would be easy to port data. Is this technically possible or does it require a seperate interface to the MOBO.

I’ve seen pretty slim cases available for that sort of drive. Am i assuming right that the drive is out of your S?
