i had a search for answers to my question but couldnt find anything specific enough.

the wireless switch on the front left of my tr5 is in the ‘on’ position. However, when i try to search for wireless networks, i get the message that windows can’t find any and to make sure the wireless switch is turned on :(

also, when i try to connect via bluetooth to my w800i with bluespace NE, the tips box says ‘bluetooth power is off’ 

both of these functions have worked recently and so i am sure it is a problem with the tr5 and not anything else. Could it be that for some reason the wireless functions aren’t being switched on by the wireless switch?

but what do you mean by vaio control centre? if you mean the windows control panel, there is no ‘wireless switch settings’ option under network connections :?
