A: Drive (Floppy) Activates Whenever I Delete Something…

Sorry in advance all, but this is a problem related to my IBM Thinkpad and I can’t think of another place where so many tech expert / tech savvy people hang out, anywasys…

Whenever I delete (or right click) a file in Windows Explorer, my A: drive (floppy disk drive) activates / runs even though it is empty and I am not accessing it…

Nothing crashes or anything, but it is incredible annoying.

Can anyone help/ any suggestions?

(p.s. my O/S is Win98SE)

Try clearing your recent files list.
