I’m a huge Civ fan and a TR1 owner.

I hope that it runs on my computer (but not sure it will).

Does anyone else have any information on this?

I have a feeling my little TR2 won’t be able to :(

It’s the hardware transform and lighting bit I think I miss out on.  I may be forced to buy a new graphics card for my desktop :?

The rating of the game will be “E 10+” by the ESRB (the Entertainment Software Rating Board).

Beta Testers Report running it on 8500DV

Doesn’t work on my TR1. I can launch the game, but the map is missing the background. I tried several options but with little luck.
I can see the units but the animation is very slow.

How much RAM do you have on your TR1?

I have the same computer and it works

I have 1.5 GB of RAM.
Do you have the stock drivers or did you upgrade anything?

You have THREE TIMES the amount of RAM that I have!!!

You should definitely be able to play it.

Follow these instructions:

1) Load up a game
2) Click on “Options” in the upper right hand corner
3) Select Enter WorldBuilder
4) Select “Reveal Tiles”
5) Select “Reveal Map”
6) Exit WorldBuilder

You should be able to see the entire map now.

Of course you won’t be able to experience the game as it was meant to be (i.e. fog of war) but at least it will be playable now - even if the map is darker than it was meant to be.
