ick, could those color choices be worse…guess they want to take some customers away from apple…but why would you want to compete w/ apple’s color choices…

If they were trying to make a laptop for women, I guess this could work. I’d be worried about the weight though. As long as it’s not terribly expensive and marketed towards women, it might work. (Think iPod Mini)

that was a tad sexist no?  maybe japanese women have better muscle tone in thier arms and shoulders then western ones! but call me metrosexual, the color choices seem grand to me.  I’d take the silver one if it were lighter and had a longer bat run time.  all i really want is a better TR3: put this in a silver TR case and I’d be happy as an asian clam:

a real video chip w/video out
a real sound chip

i think they should put out a ‘beige/putty’ colored one to match my old IBM ps2 desktop…that’d be sweet…and make it out of cheap plastic too…and make a docking station w/ dual 3.5” floppies and maybe a firewire 5.25” drive

Accounting for physical sexual dimorphism is inherently sexist. The average man typically has about 5” and 40(?) lbs over the average woman. This is in addition to men being stronger per pound, having better upper body leverage and strength. The point is that weight that’s not burdonsome for the average man might be for the average woman, especially if she’s got a purse with her too.

Dimorphism!?! where do u get this stuff :D There is also old age, when even the TR3 seems too heavy. Okay, now I want everything the t-light has (but is the Intel 900 video any good?) all at the weight of a nano. Then i will be happy.

Actually there is a rumor out that the new Apple laptops are to appear Wednesday. Hopefully they also will have something new; smaller and lighter, for me to consider.
