According to  
thieves use Blue Tooth phones to find Blue Tooth laptops. (I found this link at   ).

I was wondering how this works. How can the laptop respond to the BT phone when it is off? Is the BT radio enabled to allow an auto-wakeup function? Or maybe it is on if the laptop is suspended?

As long as the BT Switch is set to OFF, you are safe.

Vf, that’s not what he means. I know Mac OSX has a wake-up on BT option so that BT keyboards and mice can wake them up from standby. I don’t remember that being the case on XP, but since I’m no longer running XP on my TR, I can’t test…
