Finally, I have completed the clean install of Windows XP on my TR1A..all is working fine, the hotkeys, etc, etc,  except for two issues:
1)In the hardware manager there is a usb unknown device (with the infamous yellow questionmark)...I think it is the motion eye camera; I have installed the driver for visual camera from the sony support website, but still nothing..which driver shoul I install for the motion eye?
2) I was Unable to locate and install the Notebook Setup (that which let’s you set the boot sequence, etc)...is it available to download from the Sony support site? (I was unable to locate it)
I will appreciate any help!

I have solved all by myself…don’t listen to anybody here telling you the camera driver is in the sony site…the one listed in sony’s website is not for the motion eye, if anybody needs it email me…I have ripped it from recovery cd’s.
Now XP PRO is working flawlessly with everything working too (hotkeys, power scheme, camera, etc etc)...
