Hey guys,

I need your help/advice. This morning while opening my tr for the first time to add the DVD RW. I got a problem with one nasty screw (top right one, not the one in the corner but the one in this kind of deep hole..)... she just doesnt wanna collaborate with me… in other words i can t get it out. Eventhough i have the good screwdrivers, and i got all the others out very easily and without forcing at all. Now i just don t know what to do… i have DVD rw waiting to be i nstalled and a f**** that doesn t want to come out. Please do you guys have any idea how to remove a stubborn screw with the “head” damaged…

I got it!! Who’s da man now

I went to that electronic store hoping to find there a better screwdriver than the one i had…. no chance they had the same… the tech’ guy tried to take the screw out couldn t make it….
So they told me my only chance whas to blow the head off with a mini driller… and it s pretty much what i did… the let me borrow their tiny driller ( i wasn t really ready to spend 30 bucks for something i ll only use for 30 mins in my life…) i dit the work on their counter… and left with the screw… in my hand….

Once home, i did the rest of the work… and installed my Dvd-Rw.
Everything seems to work fine.. (the computer has only been running for 6minutes but lets home i dont get any problems..)
I m about to burn my first dvd on my TR… i ll let you know how it goes..

That happened with me with my external hdd case. I knew things were messed up so I broke the plastic covering and also managed to twist the metal below the plastic where the stupid screw fitted.  :(

i m know looking for a new screw…since i m missing one… if anybody has a spare one for me… please let me know thank you very much
